Meet Our Team

Karissa Coleman joined October Three in 2010 and is a member of the defined benefit pension administration team.

She is a 15-year veteran of the pension administration industry. Her career started immediately after college when hired by a small pension actuarial firm to assist with a retiree audit. This opportunity introduced the pension field to Karissa and ignited the fire to pursue a career in the pension industry.

Karissa began her career at O3 providing administrative assistance to existing clients as well as providing implementation and post implementation support for new clients. Her current role is manager of our daily asset processing for market-based cash balance plans. Karissa’s team handles over 100 asset feeds each day.

Karissa graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics in December 2000.

Her professional designations include CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist), RPA (Retirement Plan Associate) and GBA (Group Benefit Associate) and ASPPA’s Retirement Plan Fundamentals (RPF) Certificate.
