Meet Our Team

Ron Mercurio is a member of the defined benefit plan administration team. With over 15 years of experience in the defined benefit industry, Ron has supported a diverse set of clients. His work includes valuations, union negotiations, plan freezes, pension de-risking, implementation and testing, and data maintenance and clean up. He enjoys breaking down and explaining complex information. He has used this passion to train staff and to assist with clients and vendors when needed.

Ron joined October Three because he was excited by the team’s innovative ideas about pensions and technology. When Ron is not providing world-class service at October Three, he enjoys the outdoors, watching sports and spending time with his family.

Ron earned the Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) designation through the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) organization. He received a B.S. in actuarial and mathematical sciences from the State University of New York at Albany.
