Ted Barna joined October Three as Director of Media Relations in 2016. He has over 25 years of experience in working with journalists on the most critical employee benefit and human resource concerns facing employers. Ted was attracted to October Three’s deep pool of talent and commitment to innovative pension plan design, administration solutions and retirement security. He proactively shares October Three’s expertise with industry trade, general business and personal finance publications – reminding the marketplace of the firm’s truly unique and client-focused approach.

Prior to joining October Three, Ted served as Director of Media Relations for both PricewaterhouseCoopers and Kwasha Lipton (the firm that designed the first cash balance pension plan). During his career he has become a trusted partner to journalists in securing insights and spokespeople that meet the media’s most demanding needs – and often on very tight deadlines.

Ted is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and earned a BA in Communications from Rutgers University.
