Meet Our Team

Jefferson Hornsby is an Advisor Relations Consultant with October Three’s Private Market segment for Market Return Cash Balance.  Jefferson is focused on cultivating new relationships, fostering existing ones, but most importantly, educating the community about the benefits of Market Return Cash Balance Plans. 

Jefferson has 17 years of industry experience, of which 12 have been in retirement plan consulting.  Prior to joining October Three, Jefferson was a Regional Consultant for Newport Group where he worked with a multitude of retirement plans managing the full sales cycle and deepening client relationships.  Jefferson spent several years a Senior Plan Advisor with Retirement Fund Management leading committee meeting, creating client reports, conducting fiduciary training, plan health and revenue sharing analysis, as well as helping to develop an in-depth investment analysis process.  From 2007 – 2014 Jefferson’s tenure was spent at 1st Global, where he was responsible for the sales and marketing of 1st Global’s fee-based retirement platform across the United States.  He also played an integral role in the development and evolution of the platform allowing for greater flexibility and transparency. 

Jefferson lives in Atlanta, GA and is the proud father of two children.  He enjoys spending time with his children, reading, and all things outdoors.
