Meet The Team

Paul Chancey graduated from Columbus State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics. Shortly after graduation, he was recruited by Hewitt Associates to join their calculation engine team. Paul worked through mergers, divestitures, and structure changes until Hewitt eventually became Alight Solutions.

Paul took a brief break from the pension industry to join a family business and help create a local non-profit that provided weekend meals for elementary students in need. Unfortunately, COVID happened, and Paul realized he needed to leave the small business world behind and rejoin Corporate America.

This led Paul to opportunities at Fidelity and later Principal Financial Group, where he was exposed to new systems and calculation engines. Paul started to realize that the Pension Industry is a small world, as he found himself working with familiar faces. Another familiar face from his time at Fidelity kept in touch with Paul over the years and eventually recruited him to join the October Three family. This prior relationship and the opportunity to work with modern technology are what drove Paul to the calculation engine team at October Three.

When Paul is not working, his life revolves around his family, but he does find time to get a weekly ride on his motorcycle each Saturday morning.
