Meet Our Team

Joel is a member of the actuarial consulting team and manages the operations of our Denver office. Joel is the lead consultant on several of our largest clients and has a passion for client service. Serving clients and the constant challenge of helping them understand complex topics and cutting-edge ideas are what drive him each day. Joel began his career with Hewitt and joined CCA Strategies in 2005, and has worked with organizations of all sizes, industries, and ownership structures.

Joel’s formal education includes a BS in actuarial science from the University of Iowa and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), an Enrolled Actuary (EA), and a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (FCA).
