Ray holds the position of Partner at October Three where he is focused on bringing excellence to the execution of our strategic initiatives.

Ray joins us from Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he spent 19 years. As Director of Financial Benefits, he served as the liaison between Firm leadership and partners and was often called upon to personally assist partners and their advisors in maximizing the strategic management and administration of their financial benefit portfolios. Ray oversaw the administration of all of the Kirkland retirement programs, and was an active member of their DC provider’s Advisory Group.

His experience encompasses the establishment, merger, administration and termination of all qualified plan-types, realignment of plan investment portfolios as well as project workflow management and analysis. Ray has worked overseas where he helped launch Kirkland’s Munich, Germany office and has spent time in Europe, Turkey and Central America where he worked as an interpreter before changing careers.

Ray enjoys merging creative thinking with practical solutions and believes the time is right to significantly improve how defined benefits are designed and communicated. He understands the value of world-class professional service and is dedicated to ensuring clients receive innovative solutions and high quality care.

Ray graduated with honors from Lewis University with a B.A. in Political Science, is a graduate of the Philadelphia Institute of Employee Benefits, and is a graduate of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Chicago Management Institute Program.
