Meet The Team

As an October Three consultant, Pieter Hilton enjoys connecting with clients, partners and colleagues. He relishes speaking directly with clients and providing high-level consulting in the private market cash balance space. Before joining the firm, he managed a team responsible for back-office actuarial work for more than 1000 defined benefit and cash balance plans.

In his early years, Pieter was a small business owner, international touring musician, logistics manager for touring acts, tidewater glacier researcher and owner of a community-run coffee cart. During his musical career, he appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman and Last Call with Carson Daly and toured nationally and internationally from 2007 to 2019. He lives with his wife in Oregon's Cascade Mountains foothills.
