Learn more about Acacia, as she shares her experience of joining October Three, her love of singing, travel, and more
The culture/the people are so genuine and caring and helpful that it kind of feels like I'm meeting and working with real human beings for the first time. There’s a very collaborative and inclusive vibe here that makes me feel valuable as one of the newest additions to the team, and I’m looking forward to continued growth and what more I’ll learn in the future.
I came in as a BDR at October Three by coincidence after a layoff from working in the tax/accounting world for the past few years. I had an idea of what it was like to be a BDR after being one for 5 or so years, but learning all about retirement has become a new kind of adventure.
I’ll be taking part in my very first webinar at the end of February and learning how to engage in conversation with new prospects, so I’m excited to take part in that. I’ve also gotten the opportunity to travel and meet with the Marketing Team and the Admin Team to learn with and, at times, even brainstorm new ideas with them.
There’s not a lot of mystery to what I do, so they probably already know that I handle a lot of outreach via phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
I’m not sure that there are any that I’d be comfortable recommending myself. When I first came into this role, I really leaned into Daniel Pink’s Masterclass, so that might be a good resource for others as well.
If mommying is a hobby, then that's the one that gets most of my time. But I'm also an active singer throughout churches in my community, a HUGE fan of HEB, an aspiring world traveler, and a big movie watcher.
