Amy joined October Three to be part of the firm’s mission to change the way defined benefit plans are designed and administered. Having worked with defined benefit plans since she began her career, Amy has a passion for the possibilities that these plans offer to both employers and employees alike. When she learned O3’s commitment to evolving these designs evolve and ensuring they carry on, she had to be a part of it all!

Amy has built a career working with business leaders to engage their people to deliver outstanding business results. She has more than 25 years of experience leading consulting engagements for large companies such as Best Buy, AT&T, CSX, Sears Holdings, Kraft, Time Warner, and more than 50 early stage and growth companies across North America and Europe.

Amy brings significant executive operations, financial, and HR experience to her client engagements. She began her consulting work at Hewitt in Chicago where she was a leader in the firm’s Total Benefits Administration business and served as Managing Consultant for one of the firm’s largest defined benefit clients. She then served as an executive at Citigroup, where she was COO of the bank’s employee benefits business and helped grow that unit from $25M to over $500M. She went on to become COO of Vurv Technology where she directed all aspects of the SaaS company’s global operations prior its sale to Taleo(NASDAQ:TLEO) in 2008 for 5x recurring revenue.

McGeorge has completed executive education at the Wharton School of Business, holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Psychology from Alma College, and was awarded the Diplôme de Langue from the Alliance Française in Paris, France. While at Hewitt, she attained her CEBS designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School. She is active in several community non-profit boards focused on education and healthcare and is a frequent speaker on workplace matters. Amy is the mother of two grown children and has been married for more than 30 years to Bob and resides with him in Jacksonville, Florida, where she loves to garden and enjoy the beach.
