Brian Ritchie
Consultant - RLC (Chicago)
Brian has more than 23 years of experience in the ERISA and employee benefits field in both the public and private sectors. As an attorney in private practice for 20 years, Brian represented clients in all aspects of ERISA and employee benefits law, including qualified plans; non-qualified executive compensation arrangements; plan design; representation of clients in IRS and DOL correction programs and plan audits and investigations; fiduciary responsibility and compliance; representation of governmental employers in connection with public sector plans; plan terminations; employee benefits issues in corporate acquisitions and transactions; and tax planning and compliance related to retirement benefits.
Brian comes to October Three and RLC after spending more than three years with the U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA).
Brian holds a B.A. from Centre College and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2001.
