Meet The Team

Rachel Austin joined October Three following the acquisition of her previous company and is inspired by the firm’s commitment to the retirement industry and its optimism about the future of defined benefit plans. She holds a degree in Mathematical Sciences with a concentration in Actuarial Sciences from Indiana University–Purdue University at Indianapolis and has a strong background in the retirement industry, including a decade of specialized experience in defined benefit plans.

In her role at October Three, Rachel primarily works with public pension and other postemployment benefit plans. She enjoys the variety and complexity her work offers each day. Outside of the office, Rachel values time with her husband and daughter, loves traveling, and attending concerts.
