Sam Polentini
Sam Polentini is an actuarial analyst at October Three as of July ’26. Sam grew up in Hartland, Wisconsin, and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he studied actuarial science, math, and physics. Sam graduated in May and recently moved to the Ravenswood area. He found out about October Three at a career fair in Madison. He already knew he wanted to move to Chicago, and the representatives had nothing but good things to say about their experience, so it was an easy decision. Outside of work/school, Sam has played volleyball his entire life. He’s always playing indoor during the winters and grass/beach in the summers. He’s also a professional logroller, and he likes to travel on the weekends in the summer to compete in tournaments around the Midwest. When he’s not feeling athletic, Sam loves to play cards (specifically Sheepshead, if you’ve heard of that) and do the NYT mini crossword.
