Meet Our Team

Jay Pinkerton is a senior member of the actuarial consulting team and is focused on providing excellent client service. He has over 25 years of experience as a consulting actuary, specializing in pension and other postemployment benefit plans, assisting plan sponsors with retirement plan design, administration, accounting and financing issues. Jay has extensive knowledge of accounting for insurance companies (SSAP) and accounting for government contractors (CAS). He also serves as a mentor and resource for the consulting staff at October Three.

A Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and an Enrolled Actuary (EA) under ERISA, Jay received a B.A. in Mathematics from Duke University. He began his career with Towers Perrin in 1991 before joining CCA Strategies in 1998. Jay remained with the CCA organization during acquisitions by JPMorgan and then Aon before joining October Three in 2019.
