Meet The Team

Alex Slaney is a member of the Defined Benefit Plan Management team in Jacksonville, FL  working to provide excellent customer service and acting as a point of contact for many of our clients. He has been in the retirement industry for over 10 years, with strong experience in benefit calculations, project management and client management. His last role was as a Plan Manager for a large third-party administrator in the United Kingdom, managing administrative operations and client relationships. Alex joined October Three after the move across the pond to Florida.

He was attracted to October Three because of its forward-thinking strategies and innovative approach to defined benefit pensions, along with their entrepreneurial spirit and culture. In his spare time, Alex enjoys hiking with his two dogs, swimming and kayaking at the beach, making pottery and reading.
