Meet Our Team

Chris Kim is the chief architect of October Three’s Technology platform and manager of the development and IT infrastructure at October Three. Chris has considerable experience building technology solutions for businesses of all sizes and has spent the last decade specifically designing and implementing software for the employee benefit industry. This includes the construction of some of the first web-based daily valuation projects, online benefit portals and web-based plan design products. Chris is a firm believer that technology will lead the evolution needed by the defined benefit plan market.

Before joining October Three Chris was Vice President/Product Manager at JPMorgan Retirement Plan Services and was in charge of their online cash balance product, and previously had a similar role at CCA Strategies. Chris is an entrepreneur and has run his own companies for over 15 years. Prior to 1995 Chris spent more than 20 years as an owner/executive and geophysicist in the oil exploration industry. He has worked in South America, the former Soviet Union, Africa and China.
